Description
Completed on the winter solstice 2024, Welcoming the Longest Night is a celebration of the darkest time of the year. The movement of the Earth is captured in the fluid brushstrokes, reinforcing how brief the solstice is. The ambiguity of the shape in the sky, moon or sun, allows a moment of questioning and stillness within the motion.
